PEARL

Honey-throated, soulful and possessing a compelling growl full of grit, PEARL follows up her critically acclaimed 2010 debut with her new release Heartbreak and Canyon Revelry. Ushering in a new dawn of California Country Rock, Pearl joins forces with the venerable Jim Wilson, (longtime bassist for Daniel Lanois, Emmylou Harris, and leader of Motor Sister). Pearl once again proves how she is every inch a rock chanteuse who seamlessly moves from vulnerable to guttural in one measure. Heartbreak and Canyon Revelry, produced by Jay Ruston, is the natural evolution from 2010’s Little Immaculate White Fox, which was cited as not only “a noble debut” but tapped as leaving “a huge impact on the music scene.” Pearl has been compared to Ann Wilson, KT Tunstall, and Shania Twain.

Pearl literally grew up sleeping in a guitar case while performing on the road with her father rock legend Meat Loaf and has had a storied career of her own having performed on Seth Meyers & Jimmy Kimmel as well as sharing stages around the world with a who’s who of rock, pop, and country over the years ranging from Foo Fighters and Lukas Nelson to Heart and Velvet Revolver.

Most recently Pearl has been touring and writing with Cody Jinks and Ward Davis, was featured on the latest Black Star Riders album, performed at the Grammy Museum for a Janis Joplin tribute, supported Cherie Currie & Brie Darling, Shooter Jennings, and had break out performances at Bourbon & Beyond, Beachlife Ranch, and Topanga Days Festivals.

Pearl is also a member of MotorSister with her husband Scott Ian (Anthrax) and members of The Cult, Rollins Band, and other rock all-stars.

Pearls California Country flavored album “Heartbreak & Canyon Revelry” is out Now wherever fine music is available.
